Welcome to The Keep Learning Trust.
My name is David Stephens and I feel truly privileged to be the CEO of The Keep Learning Trust, overseeing five unique and wonderful schools all united by our shared aspiration to ensure that every young person receives the best possible education in their formative years.
Our name - The Keep Learning Trust - and our vision statement both speak to where we have come from, and where we hope to go as a Trust.
The reference to a castle’s keep is not only a nod to our proud Bury roots (the name of our town is based on the Old English word for castle) but it reflects the fact that we want to be a place of sanctuary and support for our schools and young people.

Our dedicated, hardworking and experienced staff all share our vision and work hard to make it a reality. We provide a safe, calm and caring atmosphere within all our schools and foster a hardworking ethos based on an enjoyment of learning within stable environments.
We are pleased to offer a varied selection of enrichment and enhancement opportunities and possess excellent links with our diverse communities – as a Trust, we are very proud of our reputation of delivering an excellent education within warm, welcoming, family-orientated schools.
In addition, we aim to equip all our learners with the skills to develop high levels of both social and emotional intelligence so that they are well-placed to succeed and thrive in the future, becoming active and productive members of society.
Supported by an active and involved Trust board and our governance team, our Trust is well placed to help schools, staff and, ultimately, families thrive and flourish.
Our website is only a glimpse of what we feel makes our Trust distinctive. We welcome visits from anyone looking to work or collaborate with us in any way and hope you will come to meet our students and staff and experience life first-hand at our unique settings.
