Greater Manchester-based Trust, The Keep Learning Trust, welcomes two new schools to the fold

The Keep Learning Trust, based in Greater Manchester, has recently welcomed Greenmount Primary School and Old Hall Primary School, both located in Bury, into its growing family of schools.

The two schools join a family of three other schools already part of the Trust, marking a significant step in its ongoing growth journey.

Originally founded in 2013 as Bury College Education Trust, the Trust has grown from a single school to a multi-academy trust dedicated to fostering academic success and lifelong learning. The newest additions to the Trust family provide increased opportunities for staff collaboration, resource sharing and learning experiences for pupils.

David Stephens, CEO at The Keep Learning Trust, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Greenmount and Old Hall into our Trust. These schools bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to providing a fantastic education to our pupils. This partnership marks an exciting new chapter, and we look forward to working together.”

Greenmount Primary School has a long-standing reputation for having a warm and inviting community and a strong focus on nurturing the whole child, while Old Hall Primary School is well known for its community-focused environment and for fostering curiosity and ambition among its pupils.

Both schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality education and providing a broad and balanced curriculum and are excited to be joining the Trust, enabling them to access even more resources.

David added: “As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our values of Inspiration, Innovation and Collaboration. That is why we recently evolved into The Keep Learning Trust – a name that reflects both our Bury heritage and our role as a sanctuary of support for our schools and young people.”

With five schools now joined in the Trust family, the Trust looks to the future, it remains open to welcoming more schools that share its vision of Inspiration, Innovation, and Collaboration.
